About Me

I am an archivist, artist, and researcher.

Professionally, I think a lot about critical practices in archives and special collections. I believe in decolonization of memory spaces through reparative description, open access, and re-examination of institutional structures and collection policies. I am passionate about the preservation and continued documentation of artistic, political, and social movements, especially on film and through self-publishing. I love community archives and believe collections exist to be used.

I completed a Masters in Library and Information Science with an Advanced Certificate in Archives from Pratt Institute in 2022. I have 10 years of experience in the GLAM field.

Personally, I am perpetually seeking opportunities to bring artistic ideas and dreams to fruition and am often lending a hand behind the scenes or on screen in friends’ video and film work, as seen here.

I spend my free time reading science fiction and developing recipes for vegan baked goods.
